Connecting the Kindy & Kids Program with the 7 ISTE Standards
The Kindy and Kids programs are specially designed for children aged 3 to 11 years old, aiming not only to help them develop their English skills but also to equip them with essential 21st-century skills. Through modern teaching methods and a positive learning environment, the programs create opportunities for children to become active, creative learners who confidently use technology.
Each lesson, activity, and project in the program is built around the 7 ISTE standards — a global framework that helps students develop comprehensively in the digital age. Thanks to this, children not only learn English but also know how to:
- Empowered Learner
Students confidently use technology to learn and achieve their learning goals.
Example: Students use the E-Scots app to practice listening and speaking English, helping them feel more confident when answering questions in class. - Digital Citizen
Students know how to use technology and the internet safely and responsibly.
Example: Students are taught not to share personal information during online learning and always show respect and politeness to friends on learning platforms. - Knowledge Constructor
Students know how to find information and create their own learning products based on what they have learned.
Example: In CLIL lessons, students explore topics like science and art, then make presentations or drawings to share what they have learned. - Innovative Designer
Students know how to be creative and find new ways to solve problems.
Example: Students use VAK learning methods to create models or crafts, such as making animal models in theme lessons. - Computational Thinker
Students think step-by-step and use technology to solve learning problems.
Example: Students do exercises on apps or educational games using the PPP method, helping them practice logical thinking and organize information correctly. - Creative Communicator
Students know how to share their ideas and stories in many different ways.
Example: Students make videos or presentations about topics they have studied, such as talking about a day at school or telling stories in English. - Global Collaborator
Students know how to work in teams and collaborate with teachers and friends both in class and online.
Example: Students join online lessons with foreign teachers and discuss or do group projects with friends through learning games.
The Kindy and Kids programs at Hi Emap not only help children develop comprehensive English skills but also equip them with important 21st-century skills through the 7 ISTE standards. As a result, children become confident, creative, and responsible learners in the digital environment, ready to face future challenges in both study and life.
We believe that with the support of teachers, families, and modern technology, each child will be able to develop in the best way—not only in language but also in thinking skills, social skills, and global collaboration abilities.
Let’s create a joyful and meaningful learning journey together for our children!
